Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 September 2026.

This policy explains how DLC Copiers Ltd ("we", "us") handles personal information when you use this website or contact us. We are the data controller for that information. Our address is Unit 9H, Britannia Industrial Estate, Leagrave Road, Luton LU3 1RJ, and you can reach us on 01582 876500 or at sales@dlccopiers.com.

What this website collects

Nothing, on its own. This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or embedded social media. It does not store anything in your browser.

The forms and the copy shop price calculator run entirely in your browser. When you press send, they open an email in your own email program with your details written in. Nothing is sent to us until you send that email yourself.

Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.

The map on our contact page is provided by Google. It only loads when you open that page, and Google's own privacy policy applies to it.

What we hold when you contact us

When you email, call or visit us, we keep what you give us: your name, company, contact details, the files you send us to print, and the details of your enquiry, order or lease.

Why we use it

  • To answer your enquiry, quote, and deliver the service you asked for (this is necessary to take steps towards, or perform, a contract with you).
  • To keep business and accounting records we are required to keep by law.
  • To look after the machines we lease and maintain for you (our legitimate interest in running the service you signed up for).

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.

Your files

Documents you send to our copy shop are used only to print your order. We delete them once the order is complete, unless you ask us to keep them for a repeat order.

Who we share it with

Only the people who help us deliver your order or service, such as couriers for UK delivery or shipping partners for wholesale orders, our email and IT providers, and our accountants. We share only what they need.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for up to two years. Customer, lease and order records are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and then for six years, as UK law requires for business records.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, delete it, or restrict or object to how we use it, and ask us to move it to another provider. Contact us at sales@dlccopiers.com and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
